The Powerhouse Skatepark Rules

The Powerhouse Skatepark’s mission is to provide a safe place for skaters to skate and a place where they can hear about God. If you come to skate you must attend the Bible Presentation when it is given.  The Powerhouse Skatepark is for skateboards and inline skaters only.  Bikes will not be permitted.

In Order to Skate You Must:

a.       Turn in Release of Liability/ Skate Park Waiver form filled out and signed by Blood Parent/Legal Guardian.

·        Those 18 years of age or older must sign their own form. 

·        Youth must sign, date, and turn in this form- The Powerhouse Skatepark Rules

b.      NO PROTECTION/REJECTION – Safety equipment: HELMET, KNEE, AND ELBOW PADS must be properly utilized at all times while in the skatepark.

c.      TALK/WALK- No Talking during the Bible presentation.  If you’re told to be quiet twice, you’re gone for that time.

d.      HIGH/BYE – No drugs, alcohol, cigarettes or chew tobacco etc.  If you’re high the staff will ask you to leave.  This is a drug free zone.

e.      ROAM/GO HOME – Unless the Powerhouse Youth Center is open, while at the skatepark you will only be allowed in the building to use the rest rooms.  

f.       PARKING LOT/NOT – The parking lot, stairs, handrails, sidewalks, and benches are off limits – no skating or hanging out there.  Skating will be permitted only within the fenced area and designated areas outside that area. 

g.      NO ADHERE/CLEAR – All skaters are to obey and follow all the skate staff, especially when asked to stop skating at talk and closing times.  If you don’t adhere you will be asked to clear.

h.      NO RESPECT/REJECT – All skaters are to show courtesy and respect for all the staff and fellow skaters at all times.  Respect includes but is not limited to no ramp hogging, wait patiently for your turn to drop in, no swearing, and no fighting.

i.        ALL SKATERS SKATE AT THEIR OWN RISK.  NO INVERTS.

j.        SKATING ONLY PERMITTED WHEN THE PARK IS OPEN.  Hours will be clearly posted.

CONCLUSION- OBEY THE STAFF AND THE RULES, SHOW RESPECT FOR THE STAFF AND CHURCH PROPERTY, SKATE SAFELY AND HAVE FUN!!!
